About the artist and his passion “Painting”:

I never really had any passion for any art form. It might sound unbelievable but I started my painting journey thanks to a very vivid dream where I dreamed about painting a picture. I believe that was around 1996. I woke up the next day and I tried my first painting. I never painted anything before so it was no surprise that I was no good at it at all. I was so determined to start my art adventure I went to a bookstore and purchased my first book about art. I learned a great deal from that book. I soon realized that I need professional guidance so I signed up for an art course at an art school in my hometown “Most”. I attended the art school for about 2 years. I did make then a break and stopped painting for about 12 years as I started my own restaurant business. When I was done with the restaurant I came back to the painting in 2012. Since then I have been painting everyday for several hours. Moreover, Youtube tutorials really helped me – thanks to these tutorials I discovered oil painting, which I have been loving and doing up to this day.
